PREFACE TO THE SECOND ENGLISH EDITION
It is a great pleasure to give English-speaking readers a book of my authorship on the current topic of ship-bridge collisions. The book has been thoroughly revised and supplemented with new data that appeared after its first Polish edition in 2013. Since 2013, an additional twenty important references have been added and commented on in this book. These references provide additional data and descriptions on maritime accidents. The book in this shape shows the current knowledge about ship-bridge collisions.
The author would like to thank everyone who has helped in the development, support, critique, and research of this book.
